Cyberbullying

Cyber bullying is an issue that has come into place in our technological age. Everyday much information is posted on the world wide web. This information can be used by people who enjoy bullying others, but now they can do it online, behind their computer screen. Cyber bullying is the act of harassing another person or people through the internet, phone, or any way which is not face-to-face. An example of this is a person making fun of another through a social media site. Many of these bullies do this for their own fun and pleasure. These bullies are usually unaware of the negative effects they have on others. In example, Rebecca Ann Sedwick, was a young teenage who was being harassed through social media. In this case she was harassed through Kik. Through all of the torment she received, she decided to end her life by jumping off of a tall platform. Situations like this one could have easily been avoided by letting people know it is OK to tell other of their problems.
